A lineman working on a power line in Texas was killed and another critically injured when the basket they were in fell more than 100 feet, investigators said.

The Chambers County Sheriff’s Office said the two men were working on a high voltage transmission line from a crane early Sunday morning when the basket fell 106 feet from the boom and crashed to the ground, WOAI reported.

One worker died at the scene.

The other employee was taken to a hospital and is in critical condition, KTRK reported. Their identities have not been released.
