These are tough times to be living in, and sometimes we hear things that don’t make sense. This is one of them as it seems some hospitals have been threatening their medical staff from speaking out about their own situations – some from lack of gear, or lack of everything else NEEDED to combat the current pandemic – and that includes NEEDING MORE STAFF.
And it seems some have already fired medical personel that they realistically CANNOT afford to lose just to assuage their damn egos.
Take the case of Doctor ,Ming Lin, who is an emergency room physician in Washington state. He was told Friday he was out of a job because he’d given an
,When reached, the hospital “denied” the allegations.
,In Chicago, a nurse was fired after emailing colleagues that she wanted to wear a more protective mask while on duty.
,In New York, the NYU Langone Health system has warned employees they could be terminated if they talk to the media without their authorization.
,And in the video below; there’s this nurse who posted a video of herself on Facebook on showing how she preps up before work (gloves, mask, face shield, scrubs, etc.) and she was then fired from Sinai-Grace Hospital in Michigan over possible “privacy violations” due to said video – and she was the ONLY ONE IN THE VIDEO.
Here’s the kicker: Sinai-Grace Hospital is one of THE hardest hit medical centers there that battles COVID19 24/7 that is in desperate NEED of more staff.
And they just fired her over nothing.
,These kind of responses from the hospital higher-ups are effing crazy! Trained medical personel do NOT grow on trees, or just pop out of nowhere – and yet we are seeing that some of the higher-up hospital bureaucrats are acting like spoiled children due to bruised egos, or overreacting.
,Their medical staff are not giving away any private information on patients whatsoever. They are simply telling us what’s really going on in their hospitals. We ALL need to know this kind of information – so we can be best informed as to what is REALLY happening on the front lines to be able to help them if need be.
,These are the people that are risking their lives for us – and by simply telling the truth of their situation, they are getting fired for it. Their medical staffs at the front lines of this crisis are not a “luxury item” that hospitals can easily afford to lose and replace at the drop of a hat – especially now when America is in the throes of a very serious pandemic.
Forgive my oncoming vocabulary; but that kind of sheer fucking arrogance will get people killed – if they aren’t dead already because ,hospital bureaucrats let someone vital to the fight go just because they said something the bureaucrats didn’t want anybody to hear.
