Kaele Lynn Polzin, 22, and Sara Summerlyn Polzin, 16, from Michigan, were travelling in a Toyota Prius Sunday afternoon, with a 22-year-old woman behind the wheel.

The three were travelling northbound on the highway, while Kaele and Sara’s father was in a vehicle ahead of them, the Port Huron Times Herald reported.
Just after 2.30pm on the Sunday, which happened to be Father’s Day in the US, a woman driving south on the highway crashed into the Prius, after she tried to avoid a collision and crossed over the median strip.
The father of the Polzin sisters was driving in a separate vehicle in front of them and saw the accident happen.
He told police they were on their way to a family vacation.
