The Internet has gone into meltdown trying to work out the meaning of a cryptic code found on a snake – with many believing it’s a sign from the universe or even the winning lotto numbers.

Snake catcher Bryce Lockett snapped this puzzling picture of the carpet python after getting called out to remove the snake that had slithered into a home in Logan, Queensland, Australia, earlier this week.

The 25-year-old said out of all the snakes he had seen in his career, this one had the longest and most legible series of numbers and letters on its scales.

And after posting the amazing picture of the python on social media, Bryce was shocked after likes, shares, and comments came flooding in about the mysterious find.

Many could see the word ‘KEG’ followed by the numbers ‘7 6 9 1 1’ – with many stating the snake’s pattern could be a sign of which lottery numbers to pick for the next jackpot.

“I was called out to a residence to help relocate a snake that had gotten into a home,” Bryce said. “The man that called said he was trying to get into his birdcage and make a tasty meal out of his two budgie birds.

“I helped get the snake out of the home ready to relocate into nearby bushland. But then I noticed the amazing pattern, and the clear numbers and letters on its scales. It was amazing.

“Every now and again we have strange shapes and patterns turn up on the snakes we relocate. But this one here is a first for me. I have never seen so many clear numbers and letters in a row.

“It did intrigue me. The million-dollar question is what it means.
