The bodies of Two pre-teen girls were found dead along a Florida canal, ID’d as Destiny Hogan, aged nine 9, and her sister, Daysha Hogan, age 7.
According to local LEO’s; Destiny Hogan was discovered first, and she was pulled from the water wearing blue jean shorts and a gray shirt with the word “Dance” on it. Then they discovered her sister, Daysha Hogan, nearby in the same canal later that day, wearing a tan shirt and flower pajama pants.
The police said there were no apparent signs of trauma, and neither girls were reported missing. And during a press briefing, Lauderhill Lt. Mike Bigwood said that the police are treating their deaths as “suspicious”.
Since the investigation is still currently ongoing, the medical examiner’s office has not yet released a final ruling on the manner and causes of death for the two sisters. However, it was stated that there IS one person of interest: the children’s mother. They stress that she is only wanted for questioning, and the police haven’t yet released her current whereabouts.
